Situation
The overall goal was to raise the Safety Awareness level among seafarers and thereby improve the safety culture generally. It was therefore an aim to offer the training concept to maritime schools in the Philippines and India as well as to the company's seafarers.

Solution
The solution became a training concept consisting of an extensive interactive e-learning course where the user is playing a vital part of the story, and thereby has to take actively part in daily working situations.

A Train-the-trainer program was furthermore developed to ensure integration of the e-learning ideas in the class room training.

Result
The result is an interactive tool, which introduces the learner in an engaging way to the aspects of safe conduct on board. Also, the user is guided to interact in cases and consequently get an in depth understanding of the principles applied in day to day working situations.
