Situation

Green-Jakobsen was asked by the client to evluate the existing safety behaviour course and present recommendations to possible improvements of the course and the overall learning solution and goals. After designing updated course material and tools a refresher course was requested to further enhance the safety behaviour in the day-to-day working situations.

Solution

The solution was to combine the two stages of the safety behavour learning process and include both instructor training, develop seminar materials and multimedia, film and e-learning components.

Result

To upgrade the safety behaviour course an instuctor manual was produced together with course materials for the attendance seminar including film and multimedia productions illustrating cases based on real incidents.

The refresher course is combining both instructor manual and training as well as an e-learning component where the participants' daily working routines are brought into play encouraging them to reflect on their own experiences and behaviour. It gives the participants the chance to deliberate the everyday dilemmas, experiences and errors seen in relation to the "good safety behaviour".
