Situation
A.P. Møller Mærsk Technical Organisation (TO) had
a strategic goal of pushing the safety culture to a higher level.
In order to do so it was essential to provide TO office staff with
a good understanding of their roles and responsibilities
encompassed through the safety culture.
Solution
The solution was a blended learning concept developed on the basis
of the feedback and ideas from the TO office staff and the
requirements stipulated by clients. The learning concept consisted
of a two-day workshop, 9 e-learning modules and 1 case study.
Result
The learning concept has been extremely well received among office
staff and has provided them with a clearer understanding of roles
and responsibilities. The general safety culture has been improved
and the learning concept has played an important role in bringing
down the LTA (Lost Time Accident) curve.
