Leadership Strategy and Direction
Green-Jakobsen defines leadership as the process of defining direction and standards and getting people to follow. However, in order for leaders to become effective they need to have an organisational foundation, which defines what has to be achieved. Through the living of the organisational foundation they will find a stronghold to motivate subordinates and help build a company culture where all employees become active as performance drivers. Setting the leadership strategy and direction also involves definition of leadership skills, rating and evaluation of leadership competencies, goal setting, on-going leadership learning and development programmes, performance feedback, etc.
