On 11th and 12th May 2011 Green-Jakobsen will be co-hosting the 1st Scandinavian RDE Sympositum for Maritime Safety and Security Training and Education Aspects. Green-Jakobsen will present Keynote I on Wednesday evening covering: Improved Safety Training at Maritime Training Academies - Project Study on Safety Mangement Integration in Daily Training Activities.

Besides, the convention will cover the following training and education topics:

  • Improved requirements in maritime
    safety and security in accordance with
    the STCW Manila Amendments
  • Overview about ways to improve skills
    with modern computer based education
    systems
  • Live demonstration of the world's first
    complex Safety and Security Training
    SST, including practical exercises in
    advanced fire fighting, water inrush
    and safety issues.

The convention will be held at Copenhagen Admiral Hotel.
