Seagull Behavioural Based Safety

Safety performance has a root in employees and crews everyday behaviour at work. Understanding the subject of Behavioural Based Safety is important for the continuous work of improving the safety and the safety culture.

MOL shipping has engaged Green-Jakobsen for the development for a Seagull e-learning module with the subject 'behavioural based safety'.

The target group for the e-learning course are senior staff within support levels (Bosun, Chief cook, Oiler 1, Pumpmen etc.) This target group has as an integral part of their job the responsibility for managing the process of cultivating the safety behaviour of sub-ordinates and colleagues. The course will therefore have a focus on feedback and modification of safety behaviour.

The courses are expected to be finalised end this year.
