In times of crisis -
and for good reasons - the traditional mitigation approach is
general budget reductions and laying off staff. However, due to the
fact that this approach does not improve business critical
activities or competencies it will seldom have a long term effect
and make the company more competitive.
Our goal is to make our
clients more competitive. To achieve this it is our focus to
improve business critical work processes through the development of
individual and organisational competencies. This approach can
strategically be of far more value in the long run.
In the process of
improving individual and organisational competencies the analysis
and review of existing business processes is essential. Existing
ways of doing, the (IT) tools in use, agreements made, structure of
work, etc. needs to be mapped out and understood. Only then can
intelligent business process redesign take place.

Typical business
process reviews with Green-Jakobsen involvement are related to the
following processes:
- Crew Resource Management Process Review
- Safety Management Process Review
- Competence and Career Management
Process Review
- Training and learning process review
- Vetting process review
- TMSA process review
When the business
review has been carried out a project definition is prepared
describing the new business process and the activities and
resources needed to implement and anchor the changed
"way-of-doing".
