Safety Action Plans

The value we provide

Improvement programs must start with careful planning, result in effective implementation, and move on again to careful planning in a continuous cycle.

In this stage of the safety culture improvement process you have undergone the previous steps of formulating and introducing your new or improved strategy.
After setting the objectives for this process it must be ensured that each department has a clear idea of what is expected from them and the Safety Action Plan shall serve as the 'set goals' communication tool.

What we do

More specifically the involved staff groups shall understand:

  1. The process to come
  2. The participants' future roles
    and responsibilities
  3. The purpose of the Safety Action
    Plan

The way we do it

To help the management prioritise their
initiatives and activities the following is
included in the objective setting process
to form the safety action plan:

- Safety issue or hazard as defined
  during the objective setting
  proces
- Action required - what is to be established
  and implemented?
- Person responsible
- Date of action to be completed
- Review date and comment
