Safety Maturity Assessment

The value we provide

The key to avoid sickness, injuries and accidents and the following negative
consequences for both people and economy lies in your company's safety
culture.

It is our focus to improve safety critical work processes through the development of individual and organisational competencies.
This should contribute to taking the next step up the safety maturity ladder.

What we do

  • Assess the actual safety maturity of
the company or within any group
    of employees
  • Prepare a tool for planning and
    prioritizing further development of
    company safety culture

Aspects that can be assessed in
connection with safety maturity:

When the safety culture maturity is to be assessed it can be useful to assess
the maturity within the different departments or working areas of an organisation, since the safety maturity can be higher in some areas than in others. It will be relevant to base the assessment on the following aspects:

  • Policy and organisation
  • Risk assessment
  • Communication
  • Training and development
  • Management of hazards
  • The health and welfare of
    the staff
  • Follow-up and evaluation

The average from the assessments in the various areas will express the overall
safety maturity level, but because the individual areas have been assessed,
it will be easier to launch the right activities within the areas to improve the safety culture.

The way we do it

pics

The safety maturity model is very useful to assess the maturity level of one's own organisation as well as to identify what should be done to move to the
next levels and thereby improve the safety culture.

The safety maturity model consists of five phases, which ideally any organisation works itself through in order to get to the highest level of safety maturity. However, the safety maturity assessment will forcefully enhance your work in this respect.
