Behaviour Based Safety
The way you behave has a strong influence on people around you. Professionally they will be your colleagues and if you are a leader your behaviour comes with more weight and has an even greater impact on your surroundings as you are expected to be a role model. In our Behavioural Based Safety courses we look at how our safety behaviour is affected and built by those around us and link it to situational awareness; one must relate and adjust to any situation and how it currently develops or changes. As professional individuals everyone should take responsibility – be accountable – for their own behaviour and how this affects others. In our courses we create an awareness of the influence you are subject to and how it relates to the culture you are part of. Our key tool for addressing Behavioural Based Safety is the Green-Jakobsen Safety I’sTM that supports a proactive approach to the safety culture development at all levels.
